I was watching KNIGHTFALL on Netflix a few days ago and a scene stayed with me from one of the episodes .... a Templar reached a point where he gave up all hope and surrendered in front of the cross... that’s when the master Templar looked at him intensely and said “ WHEN THERE IS NOTHING TO HOLD ON TO .... HOLD ON TO FAITH...”
What’s did it mean I thought .....
That’s when I remembered my painting THE PRAYER and realized that one way or the other in one’s lifetime....just for a fleeting moment we all loose hope ... and get down on our knees....without realizing we never give up on faith .... it’s all we have....
